About

A Kansas City, Missouri native, Sarah Wrampe (they/them) has lived, studied, and worked in Northwest Arkansas for 9 years. Since childhood, Sarah has been a self-taught artist and photographer. Sarah found their love of journalism, marketing, and athletics at their high school in Kansas City. They were very involved, as they were the yearbook staff's Editor in Chief, soccer captain, and an active member of National Honor Society, Kiwanis Club, and sports marketing staff. Sarah began studies in 2016 at the University of Arkansas.


In 2019, Sarah received their bachelor's degree from UARK in journalism with an concentration in advertising and public relations. During their college career, Sarah was a photographer and designer for the university's yearbook, newspaper, and magazine. Sarah also worked as an athletics intern for the marketing, communications, and graphic design departments. Behind the scenes, Sarah worked for Razorback Sports Network, the UARK branch of ESPN, as a camera operator and video production assistant for all sports. Since 2018, Sarah has worked seasonly as a video production assistant for the Kansas City Royals' AA affiliate, the NWA Naturals.


Sarah has worked in nonprofit marketing and fundraising for over 5 years. Upon college graduation, Sarah began as a marketing & promotions assistant at Cumulus Media, where they worked with 10 local radio stations. Here, they managed on-air promotions, wrote and voiced radio advertisements and worked with local nonprofits such as LifeSource, raising funds for food insecure individuals in NWA. Sarah worked for three years as the marketing manger at Community Creative Center, a nonprofit providing art education to people of all ages.


In 2021, Sarah began as the marketing and communications coordinator for Sunshine School & Development Center. Disability advocacy, therapy, and education is close to their heart as Sarah lives with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. Sarah loves to be a part of an organization that supports people like them touched by disability.


In their free time, Sarah likes to make art such as pottery, painting, leather-working, and more. She also loves to spend time with her partner of 7 years and their two furry friends — Nova the cat and Harper the dog. Sarah has made Fayetteville their home and plans to continue living in the ozarks for many years to come.
