SUMMER AT SUNSHINE

The summer months are busy at Sunshine School but are always packed with so much fun. We once again welcomed Sunshine alumni to our Summer Program. This year’s program was an

extraordinary experience. We had the privilege of serving 14 remarkable children over six weeks.

During this time, we focused on socially significant goals for these children, while also embracing

the joys of summer. 

One of the program highlights this year was our visit to Let's Imagine, an indoor play area where the children could unleash their energy and creativity in settings such as a kitchen or a coffee shop. Additionally, we took a trip to Equestrian Bridges, where the children interacted with mini ponies and horses, while learning the essential tasks of grooming and exercising them. To commemorate our final day of the program, we organized a tie-dye t-shirt activity that included both staff and children. We proudly wore our colorful shirts for an exhilarating water day, where students and staff enjoyed sliding down a large inflatable water slide.

Thank you to our staff, supporters, and Bentonville public schools for helping provide incredible educational experiences to these students. We eagerly anticipate seeing what Summer 2025 holds!
