INFANT CARE PROGRAM

Our infant care program provides specialized care to families with infants age 6 weeks. To qualify for infant care services, the newborn must have a diagnosed developmental delay or disability. To inquire about our infant care services, fill out an inquiry form.

Sunshine School’s Therapeutic Preschool highlights:

 

• A 3-star rating from Better Beginnings, Arkansas Division of Early Childhood Care.

• Licensed through the Division of Developmental Disabilities as EIDT center.

• Our 6 weeks to 3-year-old classrooms have 2 teachers and up to 8 students and our 3 to 6-year-old classrooms have 2 teachers and up to 14 students. 

• Classrooms follow the principles set by the program “Conscious Discipline,” as it is our policy to use positive interventions with your child to help them learn, grow and make appropriate choices.

• Vision screenings are performed annually by nursing staff.

• Program costs are covered by Medicaid through ARkids A or TEFRA.​
