Thank you for making the first Walk N' Roll a great event.

Thank you to everyone who exceeded expectations and made our first Walk ‘n Roll give-back month and fun walk event an enormous success! Throughout the month of May, our community rallied together to raise awareness, supplies, and funds for Sunshine School. The whole month was full of energy and excitement as you showed up for restaurant nights, participated in the 2 whiskey raffles, helped us amplify our mission on social media, and as teams got creative and competitive in our friendly fundraising challenge. Because of our amazing community we raised over $115,000, collected 170 donations, and received over 100 items on our supply wish list for our preschool classrooms.

Then, on June 5th, we loved getting to gather in person for a Fun Walk and celebration with Sunshine School families, children, staff, clients, and supporters. A return to in-person events, with the 347 people that turned out, brought an amazing energy as we enjoyed the beautiful weather, carnival games, cook-out, sweet treats, and the dunk tank!

We can't thank our sponsors enough for supporting this new event that gave us an opportunity to engage with our Sunshine School families in a unique way! We also want to give a big thanks to Macadoodles Pineville, Burton’s Ice Cream, Kona Ice, Brock Entertainment, Somthin Borrowed, Rentals, H&R Entertainment, Card My Yard, and Festive Nest for making our Fun Walk so special.
