NUTRITION
Sunshine School & Development Center is very proud of our Nutrition Program. This program allows our children to eat healthy and nutritious meals, prepared by our kitchen staff, while they are here at school.
Our staff is trained to accommodate many special dietary needs an individual may have. We currently serve breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. We strive to make sure we are supporting our children’s health, wellness and development through nutritious food.
Sunshine School’s nutrition program highlights:

​— 3 meals a day; breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.
— Participation in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) providing aid to our children through nutritious foods contributing to the overall health and development of the children.
— 100% compliance with the Special Nutrition Program Audits for the last 10 years.
— Exemplary Health Inspections from the Health Department of Arkansas.
— Ability to individualize meals based on dietary needs with proper documentation from your child’s doctor.
