THERAPUTIC PRESCHOOL

Sunshine School & Development Center provides Early Intervention Day Treatment (EIDT) services in our therapeutic preschool program to students who qualify.

Sunshine School & Development Center provides Early Intervention Day Treatment (EIDT) services in our therapeutic preschool program to students who qualify. We use an interdisciplinary team approach to evaluate students and determine if they are in need of EIDT services. This team is made up of the child’s caregiver(s), classroom staff, early childhood developmental supervisors, paraprofessionals, nurses, behavioral therapists, and occupational, physical and speech-language therapists.

Our EIDT services are tailored to fit each individual child and are based on their strengths and needs. We provide a 3-star Better Beginnings early childhood setting with class ratios that are often lower than typical early childhood center ratios.
