Sunshine School values allow us to connect our families through education and therapy services.

Each day, our Sunshine School staff work to live up to our values, including collaboration and creativity. We strive to generate a network of partnerships and services that value active participation, as well as craft innovation and out of the box ideas that spark enthusiasm.

Students enrolled in the Sunshine School’s therapeutic preschool program have a multidisciplinary team consisting of the child’s family, early childhood development supervisors, therapists, nurses, and teaching staff. Annual comprehensive evaluations are completed by the child’s team to determine strengths and needs in each developmental area.

Through this collaboration and creativity, the team forms an individualized plan reaching across all settings for the student to experience throughout the day. Teachers and therapists share knowledge, ideas, and techniques with each other and the family to provide education and improve skill development for each student that comes through our doors.
