Update on Reopening Considerations

Sunshine School Families - As the Governor is putting together options for slowly opening the state, we are also looking at what criteria need to be in place for us to re-open. While we do not have a firm date yet, we are working on different policies and procedures we will have when we do open, with our primary goal of protecting the safety of our children and families. Please watch for a survey or for questions from our staff that are reaching out, as we gather input from our families and make plans to reopen. Cyndi Bilyeu, CEO Updated April 28, 2020 at 3:45PM

Update on school closing

Yesterday the Governor announced that public schools will be closed for in-class instruction for the rest of the school year. What does this mean for us? At this time, we will be establishing criteria that we will use to decide when we will reopen. Due to the CDC guidelines, we will definitely not open before April 30. I apologize that we will not be able to have a firm answer at this time, but while we are still in the upward trend of cases in Arkansas and the entire country, we will have to continue to see how things progress. As soon as we have more information, we will send it out. Thank you! Cyndi Bilyeu CEO of Sunshine School & Development Center Updated April 7, 2020 at 5:15pm
